About this course
This diploma consists of 13 independent course units:
- Introduction to Law, Corporate Law
- Social Law, Fiscal Law
- Corporate Finance
- Information Systems Management
- English for Business
- Professional Relations 1
The course alternates between the classroom and the workplace (3 days in the workplace + 2 days of classes)
This qualification provides professional integration at an intermediate management level of a company or business or as a preparation class for the Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité Gestion qualification (National Diploma in Advanced Accountancy and Administration).
The national Diploma in Accountancy and Administration is worth 180 ECTS credits.
The course is open to all students with a School Leaving Certificate or 1 or 2 validated years of Higher Education.
The course is also open to students through the Prior Learning and Experience recognition system.
The recruitment process involves a written application and an interview.
At the end of each academic year, there is an exam for each independant unit and the student can chose to sit one or several of them. If the students succeeds, course units can be accumulated over his whole life. Each independant unit corresponds to a certain number of ECTS credits; the whole programme is worth 180 ECTS credits.
An example of course format: After completing the BTS in Accountancy and Business Administration, an employee of a company or accounting firm can enrol onto the National Diploma of Accountancy and Administration course for several years, balancing their work hours with study (on average half a day of class per unit of teaching). Therefore, employees can adapt the training to their own pace.
